Lab Grown Diamond Earrings

For earrings the case is strongest. Nobody examines an earring at ten centimetres, the stones are small enough that grade differences are invisible in wear, and lab-grown pricing sits far below the mined equivalent — a gap the jewelry insurer BriteCo measured at 72.8% per carat in 2025. Our studs start at $269, each with an IGI-graded stone in D–F colour and VVS–VS clarity.

Judge by total carat weight across the pair. Around half a carat total is a discreet everyday stud; one carat total is clearly visible across a table; above two carats total the earrings become the piece. Our product pages show the carat weight for each option before you order.

A VS1 diamond is one grade inside the Very Slightly Included band: inclusions are present, difficult for a trained grader to locate at 10x magnification, and not visible to the unaided eye. On the IGI scale it sits below VVS2 and above VS2. Our range holds a VVS–VS floor, so a VS1 sits in the middle of what we set rather than at the edge of it.

Yes, provided the weight is right. We make our 240 hoop designs across the range to order in lightweight profiles, in gold, platinum and silver, so the diamond weight sits close to the lobe rather than pulling on it. Larger diameters need more care around hair and clothing but are no less secure.

VS1 is the higher of the two. Both sit in the Very Slightly Included band, and the distinction is how hard a grader has to work at 10x magnification to find the inclusions — harder in a VS1. In wear the difference is usually invisible, which is why we treat VVS–VS as a floor rather than a target. Where it does show is in step cuts, whose open facets hide nothing.
