How do I clean a lab grown diamond piece at home?
Warm water, a drop of washing-up liquid and a soft toothbrush around the setting, then rinse and dry on a lint-free cloth. That removes the film of hand cream and soap that dulls most rings. Avoid abrasives and household bleach. Professional cleaning and re-plating are available through our workshop as paid services.
What are the color grades of lab grown diamond earrings?
The same scale as any diamond — D through Z, with D the most colorless. Our earrings never use the lower half of it: every stone in a Beyond Carat pair is IGI-graded to a D–F colour and VVS–VS clarity floor. What clarity grade should I look for in a lab grown diamond?
VS is the practical answer for most buyers: inclusions exist, a trained grader needs 10x magnification to find them, and you will not see them at arm’s length.
