Princess & Round Two Stone Lab Grown Diamond Earrings

Square beside circle is the most graphic pairing we build, and both stones are brilliant cuts so neither dominates. The piece is built around a pair rather than around a centre.

Buying Guide

Two diamonds in one piece asks more of the setting than one diamond does. The lobe is a forgiving place to set two stones, because almost nothing knocks against it. A princess shows more surface area per carat than a round, so a balanced pair usually runs the princess a little lighter. Its corners sit under protective prongs as standard.

A square shows more surface per carat than a circle, so a balanced pair usually runs the princess slightly lighter than the round. These are made rather than stocked, so the pairing is a decision rather than a default. Call us if you want the balance adjusted; it is a specification, not a special request. Every stone is IGI-certified in D–F colour, VVS–VS clarity and Excellent cut, made to order with free worldwide shipping and 30-day returns.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a two stone earring?

A two stone earring sets a pair of diamonds in one piece, usually in contrasting shapes, rather than a single centre stone. We build them across ten shape pairings and 210 designs, in studs, hoops and drops. Every stone is IGI-certified in D–F colour and VVS–VS clarity.

My diamond throws rainbow flashes — does that mean it is fake?

No. Splitting white light into color is normal behaviour for a diamond, and it shows most under bright directional light such as sunlight or a spotlight. The effect people associate with an imitation belongs to moissanite, whose dispersion is roughly two and a half times a diamond’s and throws much broader rainbows. If you want certainty rather than reassurance, the IGI report in the box identifies the stone by its inscribed number.

Does a lab grown diamond look fake because it is too perfect?

No — what actually reads as fake is flat, even brightness, and that is a cut problem rather than a purity one. A well-cut colorless stone shows contrast: dark facets sitting next to bright ones, which is what gives a diamond depth instead of a uniform white glare. Our stones are graded D–F colour with Excellent cut, and it is the cut doing that work. Judge light return, not the grade on the report.

When should I insure my ring, and what does the warranty cover instead?

Arrange cover as soon as the piece is in your hands. Loss, theft and accidental damage are what a policy is for, and they are exactly what our warranty does not touch: our lifetime manufacturing warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, while wear, loss and third-party repairs are excluded. The IGI report that ships in the box records the grades and the report number, so the stone is documented from day one.

Which two shapes work best together in an earring?

Pair a brilliant with something elongated or angular so the two stones read as distinct rather than mismatched. Marquise with round is the pairing we make most, at 40 designs, followed by emerald with round and pear with round at 30 each. Two similar shapes tend to look like an error rather than a choice.
