Pear Cut Lab Grown Diamond Rings Under $1,000

Every pear cut ring on this page starts under $1,000 at its default carat and quality; larger stones and higher grades price up from there.

Buying Guide

Pear is a sensible shape to choose at this budget, and the reason is geometric rather than promotional. A pear spreads its weight lengthwise, so it covers more finger per carat than any rounded outline, and because the shape uses the rough crystal efficiently it costs less per carat than a round of the same weight. Both effects push in the same direction when the budget is fixed.

There is one decision we have already made on your behalf. A protective V-prong caps the taper on every design in this band, so buying at the lower end of the range changes nothing about how the stone is held. Budget for a shaped wedding band, though — a flat one will show daylight beside a taper. Every stone here is IGI-certified in D–F colour, VVS–VS clarity and Excellent cut, made to order with free worldwide shipping and 30-day returns.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does every piece on this page stay under the price shown?

The starting price does. Every piece here starts below that figure at its default carat and quality; larger stones and higher grades price up from there. We show the starting price so you can compare designs on equal terms, and the configurator prices the exact specification you choose before you reach checkout.

Which way should a pear shaped diamond point?

Point toward the fingernail. That is the convention and it is also the flattering one, because the taper draws the eye along the finger and makes it read longer. The point is set under a V-prong as standard on all 163 of our pear designs, which is what protects it in daily wear.

What is the difference between IGI and GIA certification?

They are two independent gemological laboratories, both grading against the same 4Cs vocabulary and both issuing a report that travels with the stone; the GIA originated that scale. Beyond Carat grades with IGI, the report ships in the box, and the report number is laser-inscribed on the girdle so the paperwork always matches the diamond. Our floor is the same either way: D, E or F colour, VVS or VS clarity, Excellent cut.

How do I get the most visible piece for a fixed budget?

Choose shape before you choose carat. Round costs the most per carat, so moving to an oval, marquise or emerald cut buys visible extra size at the same spend. After that, a halo adds roughly half a carat of apparent size for a fraction of the cost of a larger centre stone.

Do all diamond shapes come in every metal?

Every shape we cut is available in platinum, white gold, yellow gold and rose gold, with 458 pieces in each of those four metals. Silver is offered on earrings and fashion pieces rather than on rings — for a ring worn daily we recommend gold or platinum for prong security.
