Round Cut Lab Grown Diamond Rings in Rose Gold

A round loses less apparent size than any shape when set low, which suits anyone who works with their hands.

Buying Guide

The question worth asking about round cut designs is not the one most people ask first. A round sits comfortably under a bezel, a halo or bare prongs, which is more setting freedom than any other shape allows. Copper makes rose gold marginally more scratch-resistant than yellow or white at the same purity.

Our grading floor does not move with price: the least expensive piece here and the most expensive carry the same D–F colour and VVS–VS clarity. Frequently Asked Questions

Why is a round brilliant the most expensive shape per carat?

Because it wastes the most rough. Cutting a round brilliant typically discards more than half the original crystal to reach the 57-facet proportions that produce its light return. Every other shape uses the rough more efficiently, which is why the same budget buys more visible carat weight in an oval or an emerald cut.

Can I change the shape after ordering?

No, not once production starts. Every Beyond Carat piece is made to order, so the shape is fixed at the point of order. If you need to change a specification, contact us on (888) 625-7772 as soon as possible and we will tell you honestly whether the piece has entered production yet.

Why is rose gold pink?

Copper. Rose gold is gold alloyed with copper, and the proportion of copper is what sets the depth of the color — which is why 10k rose gold reads pinker than 18k. The color goes all the way through, so it never needs plating and never fades. We carry 458 rose gold designs across the range.

Platinum or white gold — which should I choose?

They look nearly identical when new, so the decision is about wear. Platinum is denser, holds prongs more securely, patinas to a soft finish instead of wearing away, and is hypoallergenic. White gold is lighter and less expensive, but it is rhodium-plated and the plating warms in color over time. We recommend platinum for a ring worn every day.

Which gold purity should I choose for a ring worn daily?

14k is the practical default in the U.S. and the one we recommend for daily wear. At 58.3% gold it holds color well while keeping enough alloy for hardness, which matters on a ring that meets desks, door handles and car keys every day. 18k is a reasonable choice if you prefer the deeper color.
